
This event is open to all, and is hosted by the Capoeira student organization at Cornell University.
Participation and observation are free, and attendees may join us at any time for any portion of the event, to whatever degree they are comfortable.

9am: Movement warm-ups and body care
10am: T-shirt printing
10:30am: Instrument crafting instruction begins
12:30pm: Chat with Mestre Nô begins
1pm: Instrument crafting continues
3:30pm: "Roda" (Wheel) of Capoeira
We will be crafting the Caixixi, a shaker basket held in the hand while playing a Berimbau. We will also be chatting with Mestre Nô and his son, Mestre Nozinho, about the how capoeira has developed during their lifetimes. Questions may be submitted and translation will be provided.
People of any experience level are welcome, and every portion will be very beginner-friendly.
